Residential Burglaries in Jacumba
April 27, 2025 – San Diego County Sheriff's Office officials report a man is facing numerous charges in connection with a series of residential burglaries in Jacumba.
On Thursday, April 17, Miguel Sua (31) was contacted by deputies from the Sheriff's Rural Command in a neighborhood where a series of burglaries had recently taken place. After completing an initial investigation, deputies arrested Sua for possession of burglary tools and stolen property.
A follow-up investigation found Sua was responsible for multiple burglaries in the area.
On Monday, April 21, just after 8:00 a.m., deputies served a search warrant at Sua's home in Jacumba.
They found several firearms, ammunition, more than a quarter pound of fentanyl and multiple items stolen during other residential burglaries.
Several of the recovered stolen items have been returned to the victims. Other victims are still being identified.
Sua has been charged with multiple counts of residential burglary. The San Diego County Sheriff's Office will be working with the San Diego County District Attorney's Office to add charges of felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of fentanyl for sale and additional counts of residential burglary.
