April 28, 2025 – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that on April 21, 2023, at approximately 11:56 P.M., deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call reporting an assault with a deadly weapon that occurred in the 9400 block of Stephens Street in Pico Rivera, California. 

Upon arrival, the victim, German Gomez Medina, had been shot and killed. Video footage captured the suspect’s vehicle traveling westbound on Stephens Street towards Durfee Avenue and out of view. 

Witness statements indicated multiple occupants were inside the vehicle. A witness described two male Hispanic adults both wearing baseball caps with the letter “P”, and possibly a female Hispanic in the vehicle. 

Detectives are looking to identify the suspects in the vehicle and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying these individuals.
