Weapon and Drug Arrest in Ramona
April 28, 2025 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Office officials report that a man is facing numerous charges after he was found in possession of a rifle and methamphetamines during a traffic stop in Ramona.
On Friday, April 25, around 8:30 p.m., deputies from the Ramona Sheriff's Substation stopped a gray 2004 Ford Ranger pickup with an expired registration and a defective windshield near the intersection of State Route 78 at Poplar Street.
The driver, Sean Blickfeldt (43), was found to be in possession of a loaded .22 caliber rifle. Several plastic baggies with a crystalline substance tested positive for methamphetamines. One plastic bag contained 1.19 grams and the other 2.44 grams.
Blickfeldt was arrested and booked into the San Diego Central Jail for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm.
