Unlawful Possession of Firearms
May 4, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on May 2, 2025, at 5:07 p.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team conducted a traffic stop near Poppy Meadow Drive and Village Road in Moreno Valley. During the traffic stop, Zarrien Streets, a 22-year-old resident of Moreno Valley, was arrested after he was found in unlawful possession of three unregistered firearms, one stolen firearm, and explosive ammunition. During the investigation, deputies learned Streets had additional unlawful firearms and obtained a search warrant for his residence.
On May 2, 2025, at 10:00 p.m., the Moreno Valley Special Enforcement Team and the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force – Regions 6 and 7 served a search warrant in the 12600 block of Bluntleaf Court in Moreno Valley. During the search, deputies seized three additional stolen firearms. Streets was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for the possession of stolen firearms, possession of loaded firearms, and possession of explosive ammunition.
