Probation Sweep 

May 4, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on May 2, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., the Riverside Sheriff’s Thermal Station conducted a probation sweep operation in Coachella. This operation included members of the Riverside County Probation, Cathedral City Police Department, Riverside County Gang Task Force, and Indio Police Department.  During this operation, 26 locations were searched, resulting in the arrest of five subjects on probation.

The goal of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office is to keep all of our citizens safe while also improving their quality of life.  The use of illegal drugs not only affects the individual but also the community, as illegal drug use is the root cause of many of the crimes that affect our county. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office has a zero-tolerance policy for these offenses.
