Homicide Investigation 

May 6, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 12:39 a.m., deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the 19000 block of Day Street in Mead Valley regarding a fight. Upon arrival, deputies found an unresponsive adult male, a resident of Mead Valley, suffering from trauma to his lower extremities. Despite lifesaving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other male involved in the fight was detained at the scene.

Investigators from the Perris Sheriff’s Station, Central Homicide Unit, and Coroner’s Bureau were notified and responded to the scene. Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit assumed the investigation.

This investigation is still ongoing, and no additional information will be released at this time. The victim’s name is not being released at this time, pending next of kin notification.
