Homicide 

May 11, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10:28 p.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station were dispatched to the 21000 block of Waite Street in the city of Wildomar regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. Upon arrival, deputies located an adolescent male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Deputies performed lifesaving measures on the victim, who was transported to a local hospital. The male ultimately succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital. An additional adolescent male also sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation is active and ongoing. No further information will be released at this time.
