May 17, 2025 – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that the LASD Major Crimes Bureau – Cargo Criminal Apprehension Team (CCATS), in collaboration with members of the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF), executed a multi-location search warrant operation, leading to the arrest of eight suspects involved in cargo thefts in Los Angeles County, and other states throughout the country.

During the operation, detectives seized multiple firearms, a large sum of cash and stolen merchandise which included coffee beans, Sony televisions, FlavCity Electrolyte mix, Kenwood speakers, A/C Units, hot chocolate, and L'Oreal Products. They also recovered 288 E-Bikes Valued at $1,359,226.
