Update - Carjacking
May 20, 2025 – Sutter County Sheriff's Office officials report that the suspect in the carjacking incident on May 15, 2025, was identified as 51-year-old Michael Spencer of Yuba City. Spencer has been booked into the Sutter County Jail on charges of carjacking, robbery, vehicle theft, being a felon in possession of a firearm, resisting arrest and crime with the intent to terrorize.
