Operation Highway 74 Clean Sweep
May 23, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on May 21, 2025, between 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 
p.m., multiple agencies, including the Riverside Sheriff’s Office Special Teams, the Riverside County Gang Task Force, the Hemet Police Department, and the Menifee Police Department Special Enforcement Team, participated in “Operation Highway 74 Clean Sweep.” This multi-agency operation involved seven different Sheriff’s Stations, spanning the Lake Elsinore Sheriff Station, Perris Sheriff Station, Hemet Sheriff Station, and Menifee Police areas of responsibility.
The operation focused on the Highway 74 corridor from Interstate 15 to the base of Highway 243 in Hemet, with over sixty deputy sheriffs and police officers collaborating. In total, 32 arrests were made, including 15 felony arrests and 17 misdemeanor arrests. Many of the felony drug arrests resulted from recent changes to controlled substance possession laws enacted with the passing of Proposition 36, which mandates court appearances and treatment for substance abuse.
During the operation, two stolen vehicles and two firearms were recovered from felons. Notably, one antique wooden musket was also recovered, measuring 4 feet and in working condition. Six vehicles were towed or stored. An “Armed and Dangerous Burglary Suspect” was located and taken into custody, along with a firearm. In a proactive traffic stop, another suspect was arrested for methamphetamine sales and various other felonies. Additionally, deputies witnessed a theft in progress at a local grocery store while patrolling.
This operation was a joint effort between multiple agencies aimed at making Highway 74 a safer place for Riverside County residents.

- Jared Ayers, 39-year-old resident of Hemet, arrested for evading a peace officer.
- Joseph Flores, 42-year-old resident of Hemet, arrested on parole violation and drug charges.
- Roger Alvarado, 46-year-old resident of Perris, arrested for drug charges and outstanding warrants.
- Jessica Frisbee, 34-year-old resident of Homeland, arrested on outstanding warrants.
- Gary Fink, 42-year-old resident of Hemet, arrested on outstanding warrants.
- Pedro Rangel, 42-year-old resident of Homeland, arrested on drug related charges.
- Ira Montoya, 39-year-old resident of Homeland, arrested on probation violation and weapons charges.
- Brian Munoz, 41-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, arrested on outstanding warrants.
- Roy Gerard, 38-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, arrested on outstanding warrants.
- Richard Parker, 52-year-old resident of Hemet, arrested on multiple drug charges.
- Jerrel Teague, 40-year-old resident of Hemet, arrest on drug related charges.
- Donna Alley, 61-year-old resident of Homeland, arrested on drug charges.
- Michael Ignacio, 36-year-old resident of Hemet, arrested on outstanding warrants.
- Joel Lang, 60-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, arrested on outstanding warrants.
- Oswaldo Rivas, 44-year-old resident of Hemet arrested on outstanding warrants.
- Joshua Morris, 41-year-old resident of Hemet, arrested on probation violation and drug charges.
- Isavella Shank, 31-year-old resident of Menifee, arrested on drug charges.
- Miguel Padilla, 31-year-old resident of Winchester, arrested on drug charges.
- Albert Padilla, 45-year-old resident of Hemet, arrested for crime against a peace officer.
- Joshua Camirand, resident of Hemet, arrested on outstanding warrants.
- Kaela Abbott, 38-year-old resident of Perris, arrested on a probation violation and drug charges.
- Joshua Schrosbree, 38-year-old resident of Homeland, arrested on weapons charges.
- Fidel Alanis, 30-year-old resident of Hemet, arrested on drug related charges.
- Seth Magana, 22-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, arrested on burglary and weapons charges.
- Jeff Eves, 55-year-old resident of Hemet, arrested on outstanding warrants.
- Jesus Vendrell, 52-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, arrested on outstanding warrants.
- Brent Nadolson, 41-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, arrested on outstanding warrants.
- Bryan Ereth, 62-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, arrested on drug relate charges.
- Juan Tenorio, 25-year-old-resident of Perris, arrested on outstanding warrants.
- Jake Rice, 25-year-old resident of Menifee, arrested on outstanding warrants.
