Methamphetamine Seized and Two Arrested in Probation Search
June 7, 2025 – Grass Valley, CA – Nevada County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) officials report that patrol deputies investigating suspected drug activity stemming from an anonymous tip received from our website, arrested two Grass Valley residents for numerous drug charges on June 3, 2025, at a residence in the 10000 block of Braemar Way in Grass Valley.
At approximately 11:00 a.m., deputies conducted a search at the Braemar Way residence of 41-year-old Adam Beck, who is on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS), which is a state prison inmate released to local county probation for supervision under the California Public Safety Realignment Act AB109, passed in 2011. During the search, deputies located methamphetamine and numerous drug paraphernalia items in multiple locations within the home that were accessible by and under the control of both Beck and his co-habitant, 31-year-old Abigail Halford.
Beck and Halford were placed under arrest and booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. Both arrestees were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of illegal drug paraphernalia, with Beck facing additional charges including possession of a controlled substance for sale, unlawful possession of tear gas, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and violation of PRCS.
