Human Trafficking Investigation - San Diego County 

June 11, 2025 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Monday night and early this morning, tactical teams from the National City Police Department, the San Diego Police Department and the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office served multiple search warrants at locations in San Diego and National City. 

The search warrants were served as part of a long-term and ongoing investigation spearheaded by the San Diego Human Trafficking Task Force (SDHTTF). Most of the locations were short-term rentals that have been connected to human trafficking and prostitution. 

Specific details of this ongoing investigation are extremely sensitive and are not for media release. This operation is NOT associated with any type of federal immigration enforcement.
