Homicide Detectives Investigating Murder in Fontana; Suspect has not Been Identified
June 26, 2025 – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that on Friday, June 13, 2025, at about 3:03 p.m., deputies responded to a residence in Fontana for a report of an assault. When deputies arrived, they located Antonio Fonseca lying in the street near the residence. Fonseca had been stabbed and was pronounced deceased.
During the initial investigation, deputies contacted several witnesses and detained them for questioning.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail also responded and assumed the investigation. A suspect has not been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
