Train vs. Semi Truck Collision in Moorpark 

June 26, 2025 – Ventura County Sheriff's Office officials report that at 2:14 P.M. on Wednesday, a collision occurred between a train and a semi-truck near the 118 in the city of Moorpark. The semi-truck was transporting produce and the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The train had 17 passengers and 2 crew members on board. Emergency response teams from the Moorpark Police, Ventura County Fire, and LA County Sheriff were on scene attending to the situation.
