Homicide Detectives Identify and Arrest Suspect in 2023 Murder of 18-year-old Victim
June 27, 2025 – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that through continued and persistent investigation, detectives identified the 
suspect as David Holguin. Holguin is currently in custody in Imperial County on an unrelated case. When that case is completed, he will be brought to San Bernardino County on the murder charge.
Detectives with the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail responded and are investigating. The identity of the suspect(s) remains unknown. Additional information will be released when it becomes available.
