Homicide Investigation 

June 27, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 10:50 p.m., deputies from the Cabazon Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the 47000 block of Morongo Road, in the unincorporated area of Banning, regarding a deceased subject. Upon arrival, deputies found a male victim with a traumatic injury and obvious signs of death. The scene was secured and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office - Central Homicide Unit responded to assume the investigation.

The decedent’s identification is being withheld pending next of kin notification, and no arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
