Homicide Investigation
July 12, 2025 – Ventura County Sheriff's Office officials report that on July 10, 2025, at approximately 8:23 p.m., Sheriff’s Dispatch received multiple calls stating a male had been stabbed at a residence in the 2900 block of Crescent Way in Thousand Oaks. When deputies arrived, they found a male subject suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds. The male was transported to Los Robles Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The investigation indicated the deceased male was a victim of a homicide.
Investigators with the Sheriff’s Major Crimes Bureau assumed responsibility for the investigation and are actively investigating the incident as a homicide. The parties involved were known to one another, the incident appears to be isolated, and the known suspect is currently outstanding.
