July 16, 2025 – Marysville, CA – Yuba County Sheriff's Department officials report investigators from the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office have swiftly apprehended two individuals connected to the shooting incident at Collins Lake Campground this past Sunday evening.
In the early morning hours of Monday, July 14, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle traveling on 3rd Street in Marysville. The occupants, TC Phienemanh (20, Marysville) and Aleta Kirk (20, Redding), were taken into custody without further incident.

Charges filed:
Aleta Kirk: Attempted murder (PC 667/187) and accessory after the fact (PC 32).
TC Phienemanh: Attempted murder (PC 667/187), carrying a concealed weapon (PC 25400(a)(1)), and carrying a loaded firearm in public (PC 25850(a)).
