July 18, 2025 – San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office officials report that they have identified the individuals involved in the fire that broke out on July 4, 2025, at the Templeton Feed and Grain building on South Main Street in Templeton.

Detectives identified four juvenile males, all residents of North County, as being involved. The investigation also determined that one of the juveniles was responsible for starting the fire.

This information has been provided to the Templeton Fire Department, which is the lead agency in this case. They will work with the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office to determine the arson related charges.
