Bicycle Pursuit Leads to Drug Arrest 

August 2, 2025 – Yuba City Police Department officials report that what started as a simple bike stop for riding on the wrong side of the road quickly turned into a three-block pursuit. The suspect attempted to flee from our officer on a bicycle, but his escape came to an abrupt end when he collided with a tree.

He was taken into custody without further incident, and officers located 44 grams of methamphetamine in his backpack.

Ironically, the suspect was wearing a shirt that read: “This is what a legal drug dealer looks like.”
