August 5, 2025 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the Harbor Area Vice Unit is seeking the public’s help to identify possible victims following the arrest of Ameen Zarinkhil (pictured), a 29-year-old traveling nurse credentialed by West Hills Hospital and San Dimas Community Hospital.

Zarinkhil was arrested for violation of Penal Code 288(a) – Attempting to Meet with a Minor for Sexual Acts. He was assigned Booking Number 7051147 and is currently out on bail.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has filed one count of Penal Code 664/288(a) – Attempting to Meet with a Minor for Sexual Acts; one count of Penal Code 664/311.4(c) – Attempt to Create Child Pornography; and one count of Penal Code 288.2(a)(2) – Sending Harmful Matter to a Child.

Detectives have released the suspect’s booking photo due to his position of trust within the community. They believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. The booking photograph of Ameen Zarinkhil is being shared in the hope that victims will recognize him and come forward. Anyone who believes this suspect may have victimized them is urged to contact the LAPD immediately.
