Shooting Suspects Arrested
August 9, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 6:22 a.m., deputies
from the Hemet Sheriff's Station were dispatched to the 24000 block of Balestrieri Road in the unincorporated area of Hemet known as Valle Vista regarding a shooting. The victim reported that two of their vehicles had been struck by gunfire. Upon arrival, deputies located evidence of a shooting and confirmed there were no reported injuries at the residence. Deputies were able to obtain video surveillance indicating the shooting occurred earlier that morning, around 2:47 a.m. The Hemet Investigation Bureau and the Hemet Special Enforcement Team assumed the investigation.
During the review of video surveillance, a white Dodge Charger was located driving in the area at the time of the shooting. Deputies identified the registered owner of the Charger was a family member of Stephanie White, a 44-year-old resident of Colton who was determined to be a possible suspect. Deputies learned that before the shooting, Stephanie and her daughter Alexis White, a 26-year-old also a resident of Colton, had sent the victim harassing messages and made threats to come to the location with a firearm. Utilizing department resources, deputies were able to determine that Alexis was in the area at the time of the shooting.
On Thursday, August 7, 2025, members of Riverside Sheriff's Major Crimes Bureau, Rural Crime Team, Special Enforcement Bureau, and Hemet Special Enforcement Team served search warrants at both Alexis' and Stephanie's residences in the City of Colton. Stephanie, Alexis, Elijah Haro, an 18-year-old resident of Colton, and Edwin Alfaro, a 42-year-old resident of Los Angeles, were taken into custody. During the service of the search warrants, deputies located a firearm, magazines, and ammunition along with an unregistered assault rifle. Through further investigation, an additional suspect was identified as being involved in the shooting.
A search warrant was immediately authored and served in the 1000 block of Navajo Road in Perris, where 20-year-old Isaiah Haro was taken into custody without incident. During the service of the search warrant, deputies located a semi-automatic pistol, which had been reported stolen out of San Bernardino.
Alexis was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for aiding and abetting. Stephanie, Edwin, and Elijah were booked at Robert Presley Detention Center for numerous weapon-related charges, and Isaiah was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center for shooting at an unoccupied vehicle, felony vandalism, committing a felony with a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, and unlawful shooting.
This is an ongoing investigation, and no further details will be released. Anyone with information on this case is encouraged to call Deputy Ryan Weber of the Hemet Sheriff's Station (951) 791-3400 or Riverside Sheriff's Dispatch at 951-776-1099.
