Fatal Traffic Collision
August 14, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, about 4:49 p.m., deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of Armstrong Road and 30th Street, Jurupa Valley, regarding a major-injury traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle. When deputies arrived on-scene, they located the motorcycle rider lying in the northbound lanes of Armstrong Road, north of 30th Street, with major injuries. The motorcycle rider and the driver of the other vehicle were both transported from the scene to local hospitals for medical treatment. The motorcycle rider ultimately succumbed to the injuries sustained as a result of the collision.
The Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. The driver of the vehicle cooperated with the investigation, and the cause of the collision is still under investigation. It appears alcohol and/or drugs were not a factor in the collision. The identity of the motorcycle rider will not be released at this time, pending notification to the next of kin.
The collision investigation required the temporary closure of Armstrong Road, between Sierra Avenue and 34th Street, in order to process the scene and collect evidence.
