Fatal Hit-and-Run Traffic Collision 

August 15, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on August 13, 2025, at 6:13 p.m., deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a major injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle at the intersection of Bundy Canyon Road and Harvest Way, Wildomar. Upon arrival, deputies located the motorcyclist unresponsive in a ravine and began lifesaving measures until Cal Fire Paramedics arrived. Cal Fire continued lifesaving measures but ultimately pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene.

The Lake Elsinore Station’s Traffic Team assumed the investigation. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, and alcohol is suspected to be a factor in this collision. The decedent’s name is being withheld pending next of kin notification. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further details are available at this time.
