Sex and Arson Registration Parole/Probation Compliance Operation
August 15, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Thursday, August 14, 2025, deputies and investigators assigned to
the Perris Sheriff’s Station Investigations Bureau and Special Enforcement Team conducted a Sex and Arson Registration Parole/Probation Compliance operation. The purpose of this operation was to ensure the compliance of 35 registrants with state laws and applicable conditions set forth in their individual probation and parole terms. During this operation, four suspects were arrested for violations of these terms.
40-year-old Anthony Akens from Perris was arrested for violation of parole, 58-year-old Felipe Munoz from Perris was arrested for violation of Post-Release Community Supervision, 33-year-old Steele Aguire from Perris was arrested for violation of probation, and 31-year-old Richard Perez from Mead Valley was arrested for violation of parole. All booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
