Sexual Battery 

August 22, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on August 20, 2025, the Riverside Sheriff's Special Victims Unit (SVU) was contacted by the Riverside County District Attorney's Office Bureau of Investigation and asked to conduct an investigation into a complaint of criminal behavior involving one of their non-sworn employees.

During the course of the investigation, it was learned that the suspect, identified as Jaiquin D. Moore, a 52-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, had inappropriate contact with the victim during the course of his employment.  On the morning of August 21, 2025, Moore was taken into custody by SVU investigators without incident in the city of Riverside. Moore was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for sexual battery.
