Vehicle vs E-Bike Collision with Injuries in San Marcos 

August 26, 2025 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Monday, August 25, 2025, at approximately 6:26 p.m., deputies from the San Marcos Sheriff's Station responded to a traffic collision involving an e-bike and a vehicle at the intersection of S. Santa Fe Avenue and Bosstick Boulevard in the city of San Marcos.

There were two riders on the e-bike—a juvenile and an adult—both of whom sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment. All other parties involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be factors in the collision.

The San Marcos Sheriff's Station Traffic Unit is conducting the investigation.
