Grand Theft Arrest 

September 1, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on August 25, 2025, at 9:16 a.m., Perris Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a business in the 20000 block of Krameria Avenue in the unincorporated area of Riverside County regarding a grand theft where thousands of dollars’ worth of property had been stolen from cargo trailers.

During the investigation, a vehicle and the suspects were identified. 27-year-old Brayan Cardenas and 20-year-old Eduardo Urena, both residents of Perris, were arrested for the thefts at the location. With the assistance of the Perris Station Robbery and Burglary Suppression Team, a search warrant was later served in the 1500 block of Palma Bonita Lane in the city of Perris. During the service of the search warrant, approximately $75,000 worth of stolen property, two firearms, ammunition, U.S. currency, and cocaine were located.

Cardenas was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for grand theft, conspiracy, and possession of a controlled substance. Urena was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for grand theft and conspiracy.
