Shooting at Neighborhood Park Leads to Juvenile Arrests 

September 3, 2025 – YUBA COUNTY, CA – Yuba County Sheriff’s Office officials report that at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 1, 2025, the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple reports of shots fired at POW MIA Park on Edgewater Circle in Marysville. Deputies arrived on scene, secured the area, gathered witness statements from nearby residents, and recovered surveillance video. It did not appear that any injuries were sustained during the incident.

Detectives took over the investigation and were able to quickly identify two juvenile suspects. Both juveniles were interviewed and later booked into the Yuba Sutter County Juvenile Hall on weapons-related charges.
