Contraband Drop & Intercepted Mail 

September 10, 2025 – Sutter County Sheriff's Office officials report that thanks to an anonymous tip, Correctional Officers at the Sutter County Jail quickly responded to a potential contraband drop near the facility’s perimeter. Their swift response led to the discovery of methamphetamine and tobacco, which prevented it from circulating within our jail.

Meanwhile, K-9 Bailey and Officer Brooks, our dynamic narcotics detection duo, intercepted incoming mail that also tested positive for methamphetamine.
