Fatal Traffic Collision 

September 13, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on September 12, 2025, at approximately 1:09 a.m., deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a major injury traffic collision involving a motorcycle in the area of Canyon Hills Road and Sage Lane, Lake Elsinore. Upon arrival, deputies located the motorcyclist unresponsive in the roadway and began lifesaving measures until paramedics arrived. Cal Fire continued lifesaving measures, but ultimately pronounced the rider deceased at the scene.

The Lake Elsinore Station’s Traffic Team assumed the investigation. Alcohol is being considered as a factor in the collision. The decedent’s name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
