September 15, 2025 – CAL FIRE Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit officials announce transformations at Napa Valley childcare center using Urban and Community Forestry Green Schoolyard Grant Program.

Kids are discovering the joy of nature in a space that now blooms with new trees, a lively garden, and plenty of green room to explore at the Community Action of Napa Valley childcare center.

Check out the outdoor improvements that are helping young learners build a lifelong connection with the environment.

This transformation is thanks to CAL FIRE’s Urban and Community Forestry Green Schoolyard Grant Program, which helps expand green spaces in cities and teaches the value of trees to communities.
