September 15, 2025 – Lakewood Sheriff's Department officials report that on September 9, 2025, Lakewood deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call involving two neighbors. During the dispute, one person displayed what was believed to be a real firearm. After a search, deputies recovered two replica firearms.
