Serial Vandal Arrested
September 21, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on September 12, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., deputies from the Southwest Sheriff’s Station received reports of vandalism in the community of Spencer’s Crossing, located in the unincorporated area of Murrieta. Upon arrival, deputies determined that there were multiple vehicles in the neighborhood with their tires “slashed”. The Southwest Investigation Bureau assumed the investigation.
Investigators identified Christopher Karl Ng, a 46-year-old resident of Murrieta, as the suspect responsible for the vandalism. A search warrant was served at Ng’s residence, and evidence connecting him to the vandalism was recovered. Ng was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for several counts of felony vandalism and a weapon charge. A bail enhancement was obtained, and Ng’s bail was set at $200,000.
