Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest 

October 11, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on October 8, 2025, at 2:11 p.m., deputies assigned to the Cabazon Sheriff’s Station responded to an assault with a deadly weapon near the 49000 block of Seminole Drive in Cabazon. When deputies arrived, they located a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies rendered medical aid until paramedics arrived, and had the victim transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.

During the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as 43-year-old Anthony Edward Cuenca of Chino Hills. Deputies later located Cuenca’s vehicle in the area of Seminole Drive and Malki Road where he was taken into custody. The Cabazon Investigations Bureau responded and assumed the investigation.
