Arrest Made in Homicide Investigation
October 12, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Wednesday, October 08, 2025, deputies from the Perris Station responded to a report of a possible deceased subject near the intersection of Creag Avenue and Seaview Drive, in the unincorporated community of Homeland, in Riverside County. Upon arrival, deputies located a male adult lying on the ground suffering from a possible gunshot wound and obvious signs of death. The Central Homicide Unit was notified and assumed the investigation.
Members of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit were able to identify the victim as Bryan Rangel Razo, a 20-year-old resident of Homeland. The Central Homicide Unit investigative team’s thorough and diligent efforts resulted in the identification of Jose Alonso Andrade (pictured), a 32-year-old resident of Homeland, as the sole suspect in the murder.
Andrade was located in Homeland and arrested without incident, thanks to the assistance of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Computer and Technology Crime High-Tech Response Team (C.A.T.C.H.) and the Riverside County District Attorney’s Gang Impact Team. Andrade was later booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for murder.
