Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested 

October 16, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on August 22, 2025, at 5:35 p.m., deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the 1000 block of Laguna Street, Perris, regarding a robbery. Upon arrival, deputies learned two suspects had taken jewelry from the victims at gunpoint and fled the area. Deputies searched the area, but the suspects were not located. The Perris Station’s Robbery and Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) assumed the investigation.

The suspects were identified as 18-year-old Jaylin Solomon and a 17-year-old male, both residents of Moreno Valley. On October 6th, 2025, the Perris RBST located the 17-year-old suspect in the 900 block of Morgan Street, Perris, and took him into custody without incident. Deputies also located evidence associated with the robbery in his possession. The 17-year-old suspect was booked into the Juvenile Hall for robbery.

On October 15, 2025, with the assistance of the Riverside County Gang Impact Team and the Riverside County Sheriff’s K9 team, Solomon was taken into custody in the 100 block of East Emporia Street, Ontario, without incident. Solomon was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for robbery.
