Stolen Vehicle Recovered in Lakewood 

October 16, 2025 – Lakewood Sheriff's Station officials report that while patrolling in the City of Lakewood, the Lakewood Special Assignment Team (SAO) located a vehicle that had been reported stolen about a week earlier in the City of Long Beach.

Deputies determined the driver was responsible for taking the vehicle without the owner’s consent. The driver was arrested for vehicle theft. The passengers were arrested for possession of a controlled substance with prior convictions, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of burglary tools.
