Fatal Traffic Collision 

October 17, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, about 7:20 p.m., deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of Market Street and 24th Street, Jurupa Valley, regarding a major-injury traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle. When deputies arrived, they located the motorcycle rider, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and it appears alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in the collision. The identity of the motorcycle rider will not be released at this time, pending notification to the next of kin.

The collision investigation required the temporary closure of Market Street, between Hall Avenue and Rivera Street, in order to process the scene and collect evidence.
