Suspect Arrested in Pursuit Resulting in a Collision
October 26, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on October 22, 2025, at 4:01 p.m., deputies from
the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team located the suspect of a theft investigation in the area of Avenue 47 and Adams Street, La Quinta. Deputies attempted a vehicle stop, but the suspect failed to stop and, while fleeing, tried to collide with a sheriff’s vehicle. A pursuit was initiated and traveled east along Avenue 48, where the suspect ultimately collided with an uninvolved motorist.
The suspect, identified as Noe Flores, a 37-year-old resident of Coachella, fled north into the housing community. A search of the area was conducted, and Flores was located in the 83000 block of Boise Street, Indio. The uninvolved motorist was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Noe Flores was booked into the John Benoit Detention Center for grand theft, assault on a police officer, a hit and run with injury, and additional charges.
