Arrest of Indecent Exposure Suspect 

October 28, 2025 – Ventura County Sheriff's Office officials report that in the late evening hours of September 23, 2025, Ventura County Sheriff logopatrol deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s office – Camarillo Patrol Station were dispatched to the parking lot of Ross department store for a call for service reference an indecent exposure incident.

The victim reported that while walking through the parking lot, she observed a Hispanic male seated inside a vehicle engaging in lewd conduct and exposing himself. The suspect then exited his vehicle and knowingly continued his actions despite the victim’s presence.

Deputies obtained a detailed description of the suspect and his vehicle. Detectives conducted follow-up investigations by utilizing surveillance footage from the shopping center and nearby traffic camera.  Detectives were able to identify the suspect as (S1) Miguel Morgado.

On October 24, 2025, detectives conducted surveillance on Morgado and safely arrested him without incident. Morgado was booked into the Pre-Trial Detention Facility for indecent exposure (PC314(I)) with bail set at $2,500.

The City of Camarillo is a safe community; however, this sense of safety is occasionally exploited by the criminal element.
