October 28, 2025 – Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials report that Homicide Detectives are seeking information regarding the below incident:

On December 24, 2024, Victim Damon Eugene Bluthenthal, MB/50, resident of San Pedro, was reported missing. On Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 11:40 A.M., Victim Bluthenthal was found dead in a vacant lot between Artesia Blvd. and the rear parking lot of the Metro/Artesia Blue Line Station, in the city of Compton.

Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance and asking anyone with information to please contact LASD Homicide Detective Gail Durham or Sergeant Frank Alvarado at (323) 890-5500.
