Former Apartment Manager’s ID Theft Scheme Busted
November 3, 2025 – Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office officials report that the West Valley Detectives served a search warrant at a home tied to a major identity theft case involving fraudulent credit card applications.
The suspect—a former apartment manager—used her job to access tenants’ personal information, then created fake IDs, personal email addresses, and phone numbers to open credit cards in their names.
She admitted to using and selling stolen identities.
During the search, detectives seized:
- More than 2 oz. of methamphetamine
 - Ledgers with victims’ personal data
 - Evidence of narcotics sales
 
The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on multiple felony charges, including identity theft and drug-related offenses.
