Unlawful Sexual Intercourse with a Minor 

November 11, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 9:20 p.m., deputies from the Lake Mathews Sheriff's Station were contacted regarding a juvenile female who wanted to report a sexual assault that had occurred the previous night. The victim stated she met an unknown male through social media and agreed to meet him in Corona. The male drove her home, and while at her residence, she became uncomfortable and asked the male to leave, but he refused and sexually assaulted her.

Lake Mathews Station investigators assumed the case and, through investigative leads, identified the suspect as 19-year-old Gerardo Moreno, a resident of Hemet.

On Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., Moreno was located and taken into custody in the 200 block of Suffolk Street, Corona. He was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for Unlawful Sexual Intercourse with a Minor. The investigation is ongoing, and no further details are available at this time.
