November 19, 2025 – Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office officials report that North Patrol Deputies responded around 3:00 P.M. to reports of a man shooting at vehicles near Madison Avenue and College Oak Drive. Witnesses told Deputies the suspect had fled on foot after firing at a vehicle.

Deputies quickly established a perimeter, and with assistance from STAR and K9, located the suspect running near a nearby apartment complex. He was detained after a brief struggle, and Deputies confirmed he was the shooter, utilizing nearby surveillance video.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

The suspect, 20-year-old gang member Dijah Williams, was arrested and transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail. His booking photo will be released once he has been fully processed.
