November 21, 2025 – San Diego Police Department officials report what started as a traffic stop in the Webster area led officers to a firearm and illegal drugs inside the vehicle. That discovery gave our team the information they needed to look further.
With a search warrant in hand, officers and detectives checked a nearby home and recovered fifteen firearms, including assault-style rifles and handguns, along with ammunition, codeine, marijuana, and other illegal drugs. Four people were arrested.
Taking illegal guns and dangerous drugs out of our neighborhoods is one of the most important ways we help keep our community safe. It’s the kind of everyday work that doesn’t always make headlines, but it makes a real difference for families across San Diego.
A big thank you to our Special Operations Unit and Street Gangs Unit detectives for their hard work and commitment to keeping our city safe.
