Fatal Traffic Collision 

November 30, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 9:24 p.m., deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff's Station responded to the area of Hamner Avenue and Citrus Street, Norco, regarding a major-injury traffic collision involving a pedestrian and two vehicles. When deputies arrived on-scene, they located the pedestrian in the roadway with significant injuries and began rendering medical aid. The pedestrian was ultimately pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Jurupa Valley Sheriff's Station Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. The drivers of both vehicles remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and it is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision. The identity of the pedestrian will not be released at this time, pending notification to the next of kin.

The collision investigation required the temporary closure of Hamner Avenue between Citrus Street and Schleisman Avenue to process the scene and collect evidence.
