Past It's Prime, But Still A Crime
December 18, 2025 – Sutter County Sheriff's Office officials report that while patrolling North Township Road, a deputy recognized a male with an active warrant while he was working on a vehicle in the front lot of a local business. The subject was contacted and taken into custody without incident.
During the contact, narcotics were observed in plain view, which led to a search of the vehicle. That search uncovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded firearm with ammunition.
The subject was arrested on multiple charges, including felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a loaded firearm while in possession of narcotics.
