Fatal Traffic Collision 

December 28, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on December 27, 2025, at 7:33 a.m., deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station responded to a major injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the area of Sedco Boulevard and Mission Trail, Wildomar. Upon arrival, deputies located a male subject in the roadway with significant injuries and attempted life-saving measures. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

The Lake Elsinore Station's Traffic Team assumed the investigation. Alcohol and or drugs are not believed to be a factor in the collision. The identity of the decedent is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
