1/5/26 Update Per Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department: Missing Person Unit is advising Willard Floyd King has been located.
Thank you to the public, the media, Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Mr. King.
January 2, 2026 – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that the Missing Persons Unit investigators are asking for the public’s help locating At-Risk Missing Person Willard Floyd King. He is a 64-year-old Black male who was last seen on the 1000 block of W 127th Place in Compton, on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at approximately 1:15 p.m.
King is 5’10” tall, 214 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes and has tattoos on his left and right arms. He was last seen wearing a brown sweater, black track pants, and sandals and has a walker or cane with him.
Mr. King has medical and mental health conditions. His loved ones are concerned for his well-being and asking for your help.
